WE Connect brings small business owners together through curated, in‑person events designed to spark meaningful connections, practical learning, and genuine collaboration. Our gatherings are intentionally smaller and more personal than traditional networking events.

How are WE Connect events diﬀerent from traditional networking events?

We focus on connection before promotion. There’s no pressure to sell, pitch, or perform. Events are curated, facilitated, and intentionally designed so conversations feel natural, relevant, and worthwhile.

Do I need to be a member to attend an event?

The monthly events on our event page are open to the wider business community, while others are invitation-only or membership-based.

How many people attend each event?

We keep numbers intentionally small to ensure quality conversations and meaningful connections. Capacity varies by each event.

What makes WE Connect sponsorship diﬀerent?

Our sponsors are partners, not advertisers. Sponsorship is about shared values, visibility through contribution, and long‑term relationships, not hard selling.

What if I come alone?

Most people do. Our facilitators ensure everyone feels welcome and included, and conversations flow naturally.

Collaborators are aligned businesses or individuals who contribute value to an event — through content, facilitation, or shared purpose. We focus on alignment, not logos.

You can request a conversation via our website. We’ll talk through alignment first before discussing opportunities.

What should I expect on the day?

A warm welcome, guided conversations, thoughtful facilitation, and space to connect.

Each event has a clear flow so you always know what’s happening.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No preparation is required. Just bring yourself, curiosity, and an open mind.

Will there be follow‑up after the event?

Yes. We often share reflections, feedback opportunities, and next‑step connections after events.

Accessibility & Communication

Where are events held?

All 10 monthly monthly events listed on our event page are held at the Holiday Inn in Werribee.

How will I receive event updates?

Once registered, you’ll receive all event communications by email. You can also stay connected via our website and social channels.

Where Can I park ?

On street parking for free after pm. The venue has undercover carpark via Synott Street - first three hours are free and then a flat rate of $5.00 after.

First Time Attending

Is this a networking event?

Not in the traditional sense. There’s no pitching or pressure. Conversations are guided and naturally unfold.

Will I feel awkward if I don’t know anyone?

No. Around half our attendees are new. Facilitators help everyone feel included.

Do I need to prepare or bring anything?

No preparation needed. Just bring yourself and an open mind.

What if I’m more introverted?

These events are designed for thoughtful conversations, not loud rooms. Many introverts tell us they feel very comfortable.

Is it worth it if I only make one good connection?

Absolutely. One meaningful connection can change everything.

Returning Attendees

Do I need to do anything diﬀerently if I’ve attended before?

No. Just come as you are. Each event is designed to stand on its own.

Will I see familiar faces?

Often yes — and there are always new people too. The mix keeps conversations fresh.

Is it still valuable to attend again?

Yes. Many returning attendees say each event gives them a diﬀerent insight, connection, or perspective.

Can I bring someone new along?

Absolutely. Many people invite a colleague, partner, or business friend.
